Non-traditional Insecticides (Organics)
Non-traditional insecticides kill lice by interfering with a louse’s physical function. Full Marks Solution works in a 10 minute treatment time by damaging the outer coat of a louse causing them to lose water, dehydrate, shrink and die. There is no known resistance to this type of treatment.
Full Marks Solution and New Full Marks Solution Spray are both odourless non-insecticidal treatments that kill head lice in a 10 minute treatment time.
Insecticides
Insecticides have been used to treat head lice since the 1960’s. They contain chemicals that affect the nervous system of the louse, stopping it from functioning and causing the louse to die. It not only kills lice but eggs too.
Derbac M is a water based formula that can be used to treat live head lice, crab mite and scabies.
